e-quality is a pioneering cross strand tracker and benchmarking tool from the Employers Forum on Age (EFA). Developed following extensive consultation with leading HR diversity experts from the UK's most forward looking public and private sector organisations, e-quality will enable you to gauge precisely what your organisation is doing right, identify gaps and weak areas which need improving and get a feel for what your peers are doing. Our partners, Pilat HR Solutions, are established experts in HR metrics.

Any organisation which is committed to diversity, wishes to challenge complacency and create an atmosphere of continuous improvement. This tool will provide vital management information and enable you to focus your activity where it is needed and where it will have the most impact.
How is e-quality different?
e-quality is the only evaluation tool to bring together all the diversity strands and deliver a truly comprehensive picture of how your organisation is performing.
In order to create a definitive tool that matches what employers described as their ideal equality benchmarker, we spent a lot of time talking to employers and testing the questions and systems of similar products.

How does it work?
Participants will be required to complete a questionnaire online using a secure website.
You will be able to choose which organisations or sectors you want to be compared to. You will be able to take part at a time which suits your organisation.
This means that you can use the tool to assess the impact of projects and policy changes when it suits you. To avoid duplication, after you have completed the questionnaire once, your data will remain in place so you will only have to change relevant sections if you do it again.
An analysis of the answers will create a detailed report which will be ready within four weeks. It will help you understand your position and make it easier to communicate the results to your colleagues.

A member of the EFA team will be happy to meet you to discuss your results at your request.
You will be given a Gold, Silver or Bronze ranking based on an assessement against an absolute standard. You will know your ranking in comparison to other participants but crucially this information will not be made public.
You have our guarantee that your responses will be kept confidential. Outside the EFA and Pilat (our partners), no one will have access to your responses. Data will be held by Pilat in a secure hosted environment meeting industry standards on data protection.

Once you have decided to take part and we have received your payment you will be sent your user name and a password that you will need to complete the questionnaire.
