The detail will be developed by regulation and the Government Equalities Office is now consulting on the suggested form these new duties will take. This consultation event is open to all public sector members and will be an opportunity to debate the proposed new duties and inform the EFA/EFB’s response to the consultation. Conference 2009: One Size doesn't fit all!
26 February 2009
Thank you to everyone who came to the One Size Doesn’t Fit All Conference. The speakers brought huge expertise on the challenges facing employers when dealing with diversity across age and belief; generating lively panel discussions throughout the day. We were grateful to the EFA members who took part in these panel discussions, giving their time to shape the debate and share their experiences.

We are indebted to our sponsors Centrica and Strudel and extremely grateful to Hamish Elvidge who chaired the day with flair and gravitas. Guardian Jobs, our media sponsor, provided invaluable coverage, giving wide exposure on these timely issues.
