EFA Awards 2007
Twelve months on from the introduction of age discrimination law at work, the Employers Forum on Age (EFA) held its first annual awards ceremony on 2 October 2007 at BAFTA. This was a great opportunity to recognise and reward employers for the inspiring way in which many are tackling age discrimination at work and a chance to catch up with everyone involved in EFA’s work.
The EFA’s own A-list celebrity and Chairman, Hamish Elvidge handed out the much coveted EFA fossil gongs in the shadow of the well-known BAFTA mask. Thankfully there were no tears or Gwyneth Paltrow style acceptance speeches, and as you can see from the pictures below everyone had a good time...
Don’t miss out on the next annual EFA awards and your chance to show that it’s ability not age that matters in your organisation. More details on the EFA’s 2008 awards to follow.
