Co-operative Group launches scheme to offer 2,000 apprenticeships

The Co-operative Group will invest £21 million to create new apprenticeships for young people.
Jackie Lanham, Resourcing and Development Director, said: "The new scheme is different: while an apprenticeship will be attached to a particular business, they will also have the opportunity to do some kind of work experience in another part of the group."
The scheme will also see a new apprenticeship academy.
